The premiere event for Strictly Come Dancing 2023 has begun, with the stars of this year’s roster making their big entrances.
The celebrity competitors are eager to go on a quest to win the Glitterball Trophy, as the audience finally learns who professional dancers each star has been paired with.
This year, Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, and Motsi Mabuse have returned as judges, with Anton Du Beke — the show’s longest-serving professional dancer – replacing Bruno Tonioli’s position.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are also returning for the glitziest program on television, following the 15 couples throughout the competition.
So, as the premiere show approaches, who are this year’s pairings?

Robert Webb, who starred in Peep Show, will dance with Dianne Buswell.
We’re excited to see what they have in store for the dancefloor!
Their first dance, according to Dianne, will be the Cha-Cha to Rasputin. That will be a one-of-a-kind routine.

Katie McGlynn, who plays Katie on Hollyoaks, was a nervous wreck before learning who her partner would be.
However, the moment she saw it was Gorka Marquez, she knew they were going to get along like a house on fire.
Gorka has made it to the finals twice previously, but he has yet to win the tournament.
Nonetheless, the dancer believes Katie will be fortunate for the third time.

Nancy said that she would be “extremely rigorous, really harsh,” but that they will have a good time.
‘I have a feeling you’re going to love it! Nancy expressed her delight, while Rhys expressed his excitement. To us, this seems like the ideal collaboration!

Sara Davies, a Dragons’ Den star, claimed she was “beyond delighted” to be paired with Alja Korjanec, screaming as he approached the corner.
During their first meeting, Alja complimented Sara on her movements and teased them about how hard they’ll work in training.
Sara told him that she intends on waking up extremely early to start their dancing practice for the day, so he may have his own training to complete.

Dan Walker, the Breakfast host, questioned his girlfriend Nadiya Bychkova whether he was a huge “disappointment” when they first met.
Fortunately for him, she said that she was looking forward to competing with him.
Because of his big legs, Nadiya believes Dan will be an excellent ballroom dancer.
We’ll simply have to wait and see!
Giovanni Pernice and Rose Ayling-Ellis
