Contact form data — name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and the content of your message.
Newsletter subscription — email address only.
Comments — where enabled, we collect the name, email and content of your comment. Your email is not published.
Contributor applications — CV/résumé, writing samples, contact details.

Like almost every modern website, we collect certain data automatically when you visit:

IP address (truncated where possible) and approximate geographic location

Pages visited, referring page and time spent on each page
